We build the plumbing
for live software.
Driftwire started as an internal tool at a logistics startup that kept losing events. Today a team of 46 runs it for thousands of companies across eleven regions.

Our story

Born from a lost-event incident at 3 a.m.

Our founders spent a night reconstructing a day of missing delivery scans from logs. The fix became a small service that guaranteed order and kept a replayable history. Other teams asked to use it, then other companies did.
We still build for the engineer on call: clear guarantees, honest status pages and tools that make the bad night shorter.

How we work

Four things we will not trade away

Guarantees in writing

If we promise ordering or exactly-once, it is in the docs, tested and covered by the SLA.

Boring by design

Fewer moving parts beat clever ones. We choose the dull fix that holds at scale.

Loud about incidents

Every incident gets a public write-up within five business days, including ours.

Engineers first

We hire people who have been paged, and we build the tools they wished they had.

Leadership

The people on the hook

Every leader here still takes a shift on the on-call rotation.
