Template placeholder — replace with the university’s approved wording
How Westbridge University collects, uses and protects personal information. The headings below are a starting point; the wording must come from the university’s data protection team.
Who we are
[Legal name of the institution, registered address, and contact details for its data protection officer.]
What this website collects at the moment
The enquiry form on this website is a demonstration. It checks what you type in your browser, but nothing is sent, stored or logged. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and sample photographs from Unsplash, so your browser connects to those services when you visit. The hosting platform may also keep standard server logs. [Confirm logging and retention with the platform provider before launch.]
Information collected once the site is live
[List each form or service — for example enquiries, open-day bookings or newsletters — what information each one collects, and why.]
How information is used and shared
[Purposes, lawful bases, and any third parties or processors that receive personal information.]
How long it is kept
[Retention periods for each type of information.]
Your rights
[The rights that apply under the relevant data protection law, and how to exercise them.]
Contact and complaints
[How to contact the data protection officer, and how to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.]
