The brief
A family of five sharing a 2.4 m-wide galley. They wanted somewhere to cook, eat and do homework at the same time — without losing the garden.
What we did
A side-return extension with a glazed roof, the old wall replaced by one steel, and a 3.6 m island made in our workshop with seating along one side.
The result
Daylight all day, a kitchen that seats seven, and the family stayed at home for all but ten days of the build.
IN THEIR WORDS

What people say a year after we leave.

“Our site lead texted us a photo every evening. We never once had to chase anyone for an answer.”
Priya S.
Linden Court bathroom
“We stayed in the house for seven months of a full refit. They planned it so well we only moved out for a week.”
Daniel & Ruth K.
Quarry Hill whole-house refit
“The joinery is the best thing in the house. People ask which antique shop the bookcase came from.”
