What budget do I need for a project with you?
Most of our extensions and renovations have construction budgets between $150k and $600k; new homes usually start around $450k. A concept study is a good way to test what your budget can achieve before committing.
Do you handle planning permission?
Yes. We prepare and submit the application, speak to the planning officer on your behalf and coordinate any specialist reports, such as ecology, trees or heritage.
Can I use my own builder?
Absolutely. On a Full service project we can tender to your builder alongside two or three of ours, then inspect the work on site whichever contractor you choose.
Where do you work?
Mostly within two hours of the studio, so we can visit site regularly. For interiors and concept studies we also work remotely, with one or two site visits built into the fee.
How soon could you start?
Concept studies can usually begin within three to four weeks. For larger projects we agree a start date when we send the fee proposal, so you know exactly when your team is available.
