Our approach

Higher, not harder

“Fitness for a higher you” isn’t about extremes. It’s about getting more capable, more confident and more consistent — week after week.
Belief

What we believe

Training should add to your life, not take it over. The best programme is the one you keep coming back to.
MOTIVE brings strength, conditioning, mobility and recovery into one considered routine. We coach the basics well, progress them patiently and make room for the weeks when life gets in the way. You don’t need to prove anything to belong here — you just need a place to begin.
The method

Four habits

Four habits that shape every programme, class and coach on the floor.
01

Assess

Every member starts with a conversation and a coached session, so the plan is built on where you are — not guesswork.
02

Teach

Clear cues, sensible progressions and the reason behind each exercise. Understanding makes it easier to keep going.
03

Progress

Four-to-six-week blocks, so lifts repeat, results are logged and progress is something you can see.
04

Recover

Mobility, easy days and slower sessions are part of the plan — the counterweight that lets you train again tomorrow.
Culture

Everyone belongs

Different ages, sizes and starting points train side by side.

Every level

Options in every session mean nobody is the odd one out.

Language that lifts

No body-shaming, no punishment workouts. We talk about what training helps you do.

Ask anything

Questions are part of the session. If something isn’t right for you today, say so.
Promises

What you won’t find

Miracle transformations or before-and-after promises.
Shouting, shaming or “no pain, no gain”.
Pressure to buy on your first visit.
Medical advice from people who aren’t qualified to give it.
First visit

Your first visit

An hour, one-to-one, at your pace.
01

Arrive

Your coach meets you at the door and shows you around.
02

Talk

Ten minutes on what you enjoy, what you’ve tried and what needs care.
03

Move

Warm-up, a main movement and a short finisher, scaled to you.
04

Plan

A suggested programme, a few timetable options and time to think.
